To me leadership means the ability to lead yourself or your group/team to the goal or goals that you want to achieve. Someone that can show good leadership has great leadership skills and can use these skills effectively to achieve the goals ahead of them.

        The three keys to my leadership style are strategic thinking, positivity and self-assurance. Strategic thinking makes me an effective leader because before a plan is in place I think of multiple ways to achieved the goal and if there will be any conflict in the way that could prevent my self or my group/team to reach goal. From here ill choose what I think the best route will be and try to follow it as much as I can.

   Positivity makes me an effective leader because I’m a glass full kind of guy. I always look for the positives in every situation. Even in a negative situation like if a group or team member is not conversing with the others. I don’t just leave him/her behind and just continue on. I’ll try to reach out and compromise with the individual. Try to figure the reason why they are avoiding the group/team. I will also try to be the encourager and motivate them to do work that could help the group’s goal and also to be more social to the group.

    The third key that makes my leadership style effective is self-assurance. I know if I applied hard or long enough I can accomplish the task ahead of me.  No matter what the situation might be I will decide the way that I see best. Self-assurance is a lot similar to self-confidence. I am confident in my abilities to achieve the goal that I set out to do. I’m a strategic think with a lot of positivity and self-assurance. That’s what makes me an effective leader.
